Step 1: Understand Your Thoughts

Try simple tricks like paying attention to your thoughts and practicing mindfulness, which means being aware of your thoughts without judging them. You will never hear another person’s voice more than your own. Remember to be intentional about how you think and talk to yourself.

Step 2: Stay Positive

When bad things happen, it’s natural to feel down or discouraged. However, building a positive attitude and outlook during the good times can help you bounce back from tough times. How do you pick yourself back up? Confidently, intentionally, decisively, and without shame. You forgive yourself and believe in your ability to break cycles that used to hold you prisoner. You remember that your mistakes don’t define you, and you make the choice to learn and grow, then move forward.

Step 3: Try Meditation

Meditation is like exercise for your mind. It helps you relax and find peace inside yourself. You don’t need to spend hours doing it – even just a few minutes a day can make a big difference. Find a quiet place, close your eyes, and focus on your breath. Let go of any stress or worries you have. Over time, meditation can help you feel calmer and more centered.

Step 4: Treat Your Body Well

Eating well is important for your body and mind. Choose foods that give you energy and make you feel good. But remember, it’s not just about what you eat—it’s also about how you think.
