Your ability to LOVE equals your ability to tell the TRUTH

Have you ever smiled when you were really angry?  Have you ever acted mean and upset when inside you were just really afraid? Do you ever laugh at things or say it’s no big deal when inside you were feeling very sad and rejected?

This is what I mean when I say not telling the complete truth. Before you can communicate the truth about what you feel, you may have to work out your feelings in a safe environment to know what you are feeling in the first place.   Relationship Coaching is not Therapy but it is a vehicle to safely sort out your feelings from the past and present. Many times we seek out relationships in order to Protect us from the truth.  It’s almost like each person has a sign up saying ” If you don’t tell me what you are really feeling I will do the same.”  This relationships may be easy and comfortable but serve you no purpose what so ever to increase your self-love and self-worth.

Our emotions show up like an iceberg in the ocean.  The tip of the iceberg is what you say you are feeling like “ I’m fine, thank you” but underneath the ocean may lay anger, guilt, fear/insecurity and so on.  It becomes difficult for you to even communicate your complete truth since your very own feelings may remain a mystery to even you.  I invite and encourage you to explore them through Coaching.
