There’s a TikTok trend going around that stopped me in my tracks. If you search “We Don’t Care Club” on TikTok, you’ll see women in perimenopause and menopause sharing all the things they’ve let go of caring about. Not out of bitterness, but from a place of real clarity and freedom.
It’s honest. It’s hilarious. And it’s deeply validating.
After watching a few of these videos, I realized they weren’t about giving up at all. They were about finally waking up. Waking up to what actually matters now. What deserves our energy. What truly feels aligned.
It got me thinking about my own journey. And the women I coach through the Her Turn community. The common thread is always this shift from proving and pleasing to choosing and becoming.
In midlife, we’re not falling apart. We’re falling into place.
Here’s what I care about now
I care about taking care of my body so I feel strong and energized
I care about my home feeling calm and lived in, not magazine ready
I care about honest friendships where we can laugh, cry, and be real
I care about spending time on things that make me feel alive
I care about listening to my intuition and trusting myself fully
What I don’t care about are unrealistic standards that never served me in the first place. I’ve lived long enough to know that shrinking myself never led to peace. And hustling for approval never led to joy.
The women in the We Don’t Care Club are not checked out. They’re tuned in. They’re clearing the noise and making space for who they truly are.
That’s the heartbeat of Her Turn. This is not about becoming someone new. This is about coming back to yourself. It is about showing up for your health, your happiness, your goals, your rest, and your voice. It is about taking up space unapologetically and enjoying your life on your own terms.
And yes, we still care. We care deeply. But now we care about the things that matter.
If you’re in this season too, you’re not alone. Midlife is not the end of your story. It is a whole new chapter. And the best part is you get to write it however you want.
Go check out the We Don’t Care Club trend on TikTok if you need a good laugh or a reminder that you’re in excellent company. And if you’re ready to turn that spark inside you into something real, something bold, something beautiful, come join us in Her Turn.
It is your time. And you are right on time.
